Mclaren Vale + Victor Harbor Trip

During the 2nd week of my orientation, we went to Mclaren Vale and Victor Harbor. Mclaren Vale is a wine region 40km from Adelaide, located at the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. This place has around 47 wineries producing all sorts of great wine. We had a wine testing session at Shingleback, one of the wineries in Mclaren Vale, then continue with my favourite - photo taking session around the vineyards.

Next, we went to Victor Harbor where you get to see nice beaches and islands. There's a long bridge connecting Victor Harbor and Granite Island, a home to 2000 Little Penguins, too bad i didn't get to see any cos they only come out at night =( By the way, you can get a ride onto their very own Horse Drawn Tram to bring you across to Granite cos its quite a long walk, 600m!!. I prefer to walk along the bridge and take pics (bcos you need to pay for the tram...lol)

Follow the Khaiki Walk, it will takes you 45 minutes to walk one round in Granite but for me, it took longer than that, much much longer cos i think i took photos more than i walk!! Haha~ You get to see lots of funny big rocks around the island and somewhere at the top of Granite, you will be able to see some spectacular views across Victor Harbor.

After touring around Granite, we return to Victor Harbor and have a short walk around the town area where all the shops and restaurants are located. The town is real nice and comfortable. I found some cute cute stalls around the place. Lets have a look at it k!
